Starting as a research and development scientist when he joined Particle Measuring Systems in 1995, Mr. Mitchell discovered that he enjoyed working with customers to solve their problems. As a result, he became more involved in the commercial aspects of the business. After holding positions at the company in various other capacities, Mr. Mitchell was appointed president of Particle Measuring Systems. He has written and presented more than 25 technical papers around the world and is the inventor or co-inventor on 10 patents. Outside of work, Mr. Mitchell enjoys spending time with his family and golfing.
Mr. Cowan joined Particle Measuring systems in January 2016 and is responsible for the company’s Finance and IT functions as well as a dual role leading Business Development
Mr. Cowan has a degree in Business & Commerce from Glasgow Caledonian University (Scotland) and is a member of the Association of Chartered Global Management Accountants. He has held various financial leadership roles throughout the past 15 years within various technology companies mainly in the Electronic Test and Measurement field. Most recently Mr. Cowan held the position of Senior Finance Director at Viavi Solutions.
When not at work he enjoys spending time with his family and both watching and participating in Soccer and Tennis.
Since the year 2001, Rolf Wehrli has gone through various stages in CAS Clean-Air-Service AG: from the measurement technician to the head of marketing & sales to the general manager. He has specialized in sales and marketing, with a degree as a certified sales manager. Since June 2016, he has taken over the management of CAS in the PMS Group. He likes to spend the free time with his family. In the cold season, he enjoys skipping down the fresh snow-covered slopes by ski. But when it gets warmer, he prefers to explore the streets on two wheels
Marcel Rutz started his career at CAS Clean-Air-Service AG in 1999. He has worked in a variety of roles such as calibration technician, head of calibration laboratory and manager of CAS Austria. He graduated with a master’s degree in Business Administration (EMBA). He introduced the accreditations for the calibration laboratory (SCS) and GMP Services (STS) and is still the head of the accreditation center. As CAS became a part of PMS in 2016 he started his current position as Global Product Line Manager GMP Services. Outside of work he enjoys outdoor activities like biking, hiking and skiing and spending time with his three godchildren.
Mr. Schindler is an analytical manufacturing leader focused on customer orientation and continuous improvement processes. He has worked for Particle Measuring Systems since 2006 and has nearly 17 years of experience in service operations from his previous leadership position as vice president of service center operations for Micro Motion, Inc. He has done graduate studies in Business from the University of Colorado and has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University. Outside of work, Mr. Schindler enjoys spending time with his family and training and hunting with bird dogs.
Mr. Knollenberg provides performance-leading solutions to the microelectronics, display and industrial sectors. In his more than 15 years at Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Knollenberg has held a variety of technology and leadership roles in product development, global applications and general management. In addition to his experience at Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Knollenberg has held marketing and business leadership positions in the thin film vacuum process equipment industry. Mr. Knollenberg is actively involved in several nonprofit organizations. Prior to his professional career, he served with the United States Army. When not at work, he spends time in the mountains hiking, fishing and spending time with family.
Mr. Lockhart has worked at Particle Measuring Systems for more than 25 years. Prior to his current assignment, he held positions in IT, engineering, operations, marketing and sales. Prior to joining Particle Measuring Systems, he was a mining consultant working with investors and small mine owners for opportunities and investments. He enjoys working with customers and using Particle Measuring System resources (employees, technology, expertise and global channels) to support customers. He has an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado Denver and spends his time away from work enjoying outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
Claudio started his career as a high school chemistry teacher, but has spent the last twenty-three years working at a variety of companies including CaRli (a company he founded), MicroSafe (a business in which he was a shareholder), and BioTrace MicroSafe. Most recently he served as the Operations, Sales and General Manager for Particle Measuring Systems’ Italian subsidiary office before becoming the EMEA director.
At Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Scialò appreciates a working environment built on fairness and trust. Before joining Particle Measuring Systems, he held positions as CEO at Biotrace MicroSafe, managing director at Biotrace International in the pharmaceutical division and founder and CEO of MicroSafe. With a degree in Biology, Mr. Scialò’s post-graduate training includes business administration, marketing management and resources management. Outside of work, Mr. Scialò enjoys spending time with his family, particularly his grandson, and cooking.
Mr. Gromala has worked in a variety of roles during his more than 14 years with Particle Measuring Systems, including western sales manager, applications engineering manager and director of service. In his current position, he enjoys corporate strategy development and implementation with a focus on technology and intellectual property creation. Mr. Gromala’s career spans more than 25 years in the field of lasers and electro-optic technology, and he holds degrees in Engineering and Business. Outside of work, Mr. Gromala enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, playing the guitar and reading history books.
With Particle Measuring Systems for more than 15 years, Ms. Campitelli has held several positions, including production manager, quality manager and sustaining engineering manager. With a B.S. in Ceramics Science and Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, she has previous experience in the fields of process engineering, production management and product management for CoorsTek. At Particle Measuring Systems, Ms. Campitelli develops technology solutions that enable customers to improve productivity, increase yield and align their manufacturing processes to the ever-changing regulatory environment. When she isn't working, Ms. Campitelli enjoys spending time in the Colorado mountains hiking and mountain biking with her husband and dogs.
Ms.Venincasa joined Particle Measuring Systems in May 2016 and is responsible for all aspects of Sales Operations. Ms.Venincasa has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a Minor in Marketing from Regis University in Denver, CO. Ms.Venincasa has held several positions over her career including various Accounting and Financial Roles, Systems Implementation Specialist and Sales Operations. Ms.Venincasa has also attended several Leadership conferences and is certified as a Client Associate for Miller Heiman. When not at work, she enjoys being artistic, being outdoors and spending time with her husband and dog.
